I went to her house on Saturday after a hot day at Fog Fest. I was so hot that Marisa gave me a nice cool soapy bath! After my bath I felt so good I ran around the house for a long time!! Finally I stopped and she gave me a yummy dinner. We then stayed up and watched movies and snuggled in bed.
It was really late when a man came right in to the house so I had to bark at him and protect Marisa. But Marisa seemed to know him since she said he was her "husband." Then she kissed him hello. I gave him some room on the bed, and he finished the movie with us.
On Sunday, Marisa's husband took me out to do my business the next morning and called me a "Good Boy" so I started to like him. Marisa made me a yummy breakfast. Then we all sat and watched a little television. Marisa's husband left for what he called "work" so I stayed with Marisa and watched her clean the house. She brought out a vacuum and I was a good boy and stayed on the couch out of her way. She was spraying stuff and then wiping it off, moving clothes around, and brushing things. I just made sure to stay out of her way, but I kept an eye on her to make sure she did a good job.
After a while she got on some shoes and I knew that meant walk time! We went walking down a trail lined with lots of trees; it was nice and shady. I was ready to turn back but she wanted to keep walking, so we went farther and farther. I kept looking at her to check that she knew where she was going. Maybe she was lost? Finally we came back to the car -- but from a different direction! We had made a huge loop around! Whew! I was tired after being in the sun. Right when I got back to the house I passed out on the couch. The rest of the day I got plenty of belly rubs and "good boys" for taking Marisa on such a good walk!
Monday was different. Marisa took me in the car and we picked up my friends Rocky and Cash! I was surprised but happy to see them! We all went to the beach for a walk. It was great to be in the sun, walking with friends, smelling the yummy smells near the ocean. Pacifica sure is beautiful!
I'll be staying a bit longer with Marisa. I can tell I'm making her feel better -- she is smiling. I'm so glad I could be there to help her.
